“Out North”: 37208 Fights Back

How did Fiverr end up producing a documentary in Nashville, Tennessee? While shooting our 2020 brand campaign “It Starts Here”, we learned that in zip code 37208, one in three young men end up in prison. To outsiders, it’s a stat that defines the neighborhood. But to residents, it’s a rallying cry to save and invest in its youth. The film was created in partnership with The Bindery, and distributed on Vox Media. I was the Executive Producer of this film and managed it from start to finish, giving me an invaluable education in branded content and purpose-driven marketing.
